Vitamins, trophies, steps and so much more.
Do you see this. It's a vitamin. In between the size of a quarter and a nickel. A children's CHEWABLE vitamin. I just bought them to boost my children's health. After I handed them out to everyone Brian looked at me, eyes watering, "Man! Those are hard to swallow!!" Brian, are you ok? You were supposed to chew it." OH! DANG. It's caught it my throat. " It finally made its way down. We had a good laugh for a long time.
16 years ago this week I went to the MTC to serve a mission in the Philippines. My does time fly when you're having fun.I pulled out some of my pictures and artifacts from the vault and showed my children. I pulled them out to help Brian with his "World's Fair project". Landon thought I looked 'weird' back then...but that I look 'cute' now. While going through my hope chest, Sam pulled out one of my trophies (like there are sooo many). He loved it. When I tucked him in bed that night he asked.."Can I have your trophy when you die?" For sure. I'll leave it in my will. Landon then asked me, "Can we just take a picture together before you die, so I'll have it."I do have pictures with just him and me, but we need more for sure, now that I'm dying some day and my kids are requesting 'last 'things of me.

Ellie conquered the stairs this week...going up and down. Brian taught her. Just like he taught Zac and Landon to ride a bike.
Zachary turned 10 this past week. We had fun celebrating his birth by going to the Gateway in Salt Lake. Happy Birthday Zac!

What we've been up to
Welcome 2010!!
Landon. Future Winter Olympian.

Natalie and Brian had their first piano recital.
They did amazing!
Natalie is playing basketball with the young women. Brian and Zac are both playing for city teams and Andy is playing with the men at church. Our Saturdays are fun-filled with games. I love seeing how much they improve every year.
Zac and his partner Parker won first place in the Science Fair for the 4th grade. They put a lot of time into this little "Bug".

100 days of school has already passed! The kindergartners celebrated by making a
poster with their choice of 100 things. Sam chose WORMS.
The 6th graders at Brian's school studied the knights and the medieval times. They all were assigned to make a castle. Sam was drooling over this castle. There is a flap in the back which opens up to the inside of the castle...Brian made a staircase on the inside with CARPET. Needless to say he spent hours on this and had a blast doing it.
One of the BIG highlights. Grammie and Grandad came to town!
Ellie in particular was partial to Grammie. She cried when
Grammie walked out the door to go home.

Little Baby Karie was blessed. We were so
grateful to be there to see her. Look at this awesome family.
P.S. If you want good clean LDS entertainment...visit the
Johnson's ward.
Some good dirty fun. Our water main broke coming into the house.
The boys loved this "project." Thanks to our neighbors Andy was
able to get it fixed so we could have water again for Sunday.

In other news...Andy started teaching a class at the Art Institute of Salt Lake.
I was called to be Landon's primary teacher. I love it!
